If Pokemon has Team Rocket, then the bad guys in Palworld seem to be the Syndicate. These bandits are troublesome and make up both bandit camps and boss fights. The first boss is extremely hard to beat (I failed my first attempt and have yet to go back), but the camps are a little easier to take on. When you finally venture from the main starter zone, you’ll find humans that you can either kill or capture (yep, you can enslave humans… but they’re not that good at tasks so consider this when trying; they also have a super low catch rate and take a lot of spheres).

When you finally venture over to a syndicate camp in the first zones with them, you’ll have to fight some level 5s and 6s (roughly). They’re not very tough, but you should have a good fighting Pal just in case. My character is currently level 16 for reference.

Syndicate camps are dispersed throughout the world and provide an opportunity to get new pals through the cages. They are also a good way to get experience, but also just a benefit of generally exploring the world.

To get the pal, simply hold F on the cage to release it. It will then immediately become one of your pals. I like to imagine it joins me as it’s grateful and we’re now friends.

Here are a couple of camp locations that I’ve found. There are more that I’ve been to, but I had not gotten a screenshot and haven’t been back yet. The yellow marker is where I found them. There’s also more closer to the starter area.

Perhaps disturbingly, caught humans from syndicate camps can be sold on the black market for money.

There are also rare pals that can be purchased at this vendor. I am not sure if the location changes, but I found him in the following spot (see the horns marker). Selling humans is a … strange way to make money … but I tried it for science. Or, morbid curiosity. Either or.

I've been playing The Sims since 2004. I've played every iteration, but the Sims 2 will always remain as my very favourite. I'm passionate about getting others involved in playing the Sims 2 and sharing my stories, as well as trying my hand at CC. But, I also love the other Sims games (Castaway Stories anybody?)
